I know he was played out of position, but how did he play?

Don't see what the fuss is to be honest. Think he's a bit shit.

Same thing with Sakho. People slagged him off as a nobody when he signed. Once he was a success people started saying that we should be making more inexpensive signings like Sakho.

PD - of course, but at least with most of them they'd been playing for a number of years and were 'known'. For Fernandes, that wasn't the case, he was written off before kicking a ball because he was an unknown from the Swiss league.

According to some on here, the board are skinflints and should have gone after a name like Pogba and paid whatever it takes.
He is an example of the sort of player West Ham should invest in, as were Obiang, Cresswell, Antonio, Kouyate, Byram etc.

Joe - Well if you're gonna go down that road then you need to give WHO credit for the signings of clowns like Tore, Arbeloa, Nordveit, Zaza, Calleri etc.

He's shit and we shouldn't have signed another midfielder, especially some cunt nobody has heard of.

A young player comes into a struggling team and plays out position and does it well? A bit early to call maybe, but I think he could be a very good bit of business. Looks decent already.

Crassus, you talk almost as if you recommended Fernandes to WHU.

Fair point
Apart from the fact that I think you will find that upon players its case closed
Unless of course you are still cautioning that we give Tore, Calleri and the Norwegian time to adjust
Oh and Fletch' - not yet given a proper go but he will be a player
All that aside mate, and time will tell in truth, I am just delighted to feel that we have our club back and as I said elsewhere, that is not result driven

Well, after all the calls you made, you had to get one or two right, Crassus.

An outstanding player with plenty left in the tank for further development
Has - an engine, mobility, a tackle, a finish, a pass and spacial awareness
A poor mans Pogba perhaps
But then again I am a rather smug fucker on account of having been advocating his playing for all of the now obvious attributes, when others thought otherwise

I love that Slav has found a system to fit our best players in and get the most out of them.
